Quality System Implementation

Management level procedures have been created for controlling, documents, records & data auditing and review, non-conformance & corrective action, preventive action etc. Process specific procedures have been implemented for areas such as engineering, procurement, human resource, operations etc.

Continual management review of defined objectives ensures our processes consistently deliver their planned requirements. Management review also provides the opportunity for improvement relating to changing business perspectives.

Our staff development programs ensure our people are fully competent in their roles to deliver process results. Through continual employee development we aim establish and support a culture of excellence throughout the Al Fityan Company All business units have adopted Key Results Areas (KRA’s) which subsequently translate to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with specific targets for staff. 

This provides a clear systematic approach to human resource management. These defined KRA’s integrate seamlessly with the management system to provide exceptionally clear goals and objectives for each business unit and associated staff.

Continual Improvement Culture

For any business to prosper and grow a culture must be established to facilitate incremental continual improvement. In the Al Fityan Company we audit and evaluate our processes continually to understand where improvement can be made. 

This approach would be ineffective without openness and honesty from all our staff. All staff is encouraged to suggest improvement for any part of their process or the business as a whole.

Health and Safety

Al Fityan Company recognizes the primary business driver of safeguarding and promoting the health and safety of its employees, contractors employees, and of all those, including membersof the public, who may be affected by our work. The company will discharge its statutory obligations and duties placing health and safety issues on an equal priority with other business objectives, or as arbiter, in matters of debate. The minimum health and safety standers acceptable to us are those required by relevant legislation and authoritative guidance. 

These requirements will be met, and enhanced where long-term business or stakeholder interests can be improved. The objective of the health and safety plan is to prevent accidents and injuries to all personal, both management and supervisory. Also to reduce the damage to our equipment and plant, observing all regulation governing building operation and civil engineering construction in IRAQ, bearing in mind that the whole safety issue to be under main contractor control and responsibility.

The Management and Directors of Al Fityan Company General Contracting Co. fully endorse the health and safety policy statement and environmental policy.

A summary of the safety policy statement is posted on the designated safety notice board(s). A copy of the full health and safety plan is held by the project leader and site supervisor which will be available for inspection at any time. This describes how risks to health and safety will be managed on this project.
